Desulfitobacterium hafniense strain TCE1 is known of dechlorinate tetrachloroethene
part of a composite transposon (Tn-Dha1), containing tetrachloroethene reductive dehalogenase genes.
DR present not around single ISDha1 copy, but around composite transposon.

Desulfitobacterium sp. strain Y51 dechlorinates tetrachloroethene to cis-1,2-dichloroethene by the PceA reductive dehalogenase. The pceA gene is located between ISDesp1 and ISDesp2 and they form a composite transposon. This structure is very similar to Tn-Dha1 in Desulfitobacterium hafniense strain TCE1 described by Maillard et al.
