ISAzvi10 is 70% aa similar to IS1357. ISAzvi10 has been found by screening completely sequenced bacterial genomes for sequences homologous to the IS1452 transposase using BLASTP. Multiple alignments revealed a conserved DDE motif : D(N2)-99-D(N3)-133-E(C1). The copy number of ISAzvi10 in Azotobacter vinelandii AvOP is unknown since genome sequencing is still in progress.
