ISRhosp4 is 59% aa similar to ISSav3. ISRhosp4 has been found by screening completely sequenced bacterial genomes for sequences homologous to the IS4Sa2 transposase using BLASTP. Multiple alignments revealed a conserved DDE motif : D(N2)-99-D(N3)-124-E(C1).The copy number of ISRhosp4 in Rhodococcus sp. RHA1 (chromosome) is 1 on the chromosome and 1 on Plasmid pRHL2.
