ISPosp4 is 80% aa similar to ISDar2. ISPosp4 was found by screening completely sequenced genomes for sequences homologous to the ISRso13 transposase using BLASTP. Multiple sequence alignments revealed a conserved DDE motif : D(N2)-65-D(N3)-102-E(C1). The copy number in the Polaromonas sp. JS666 genome is 1. ISPosp4 is located on plasmid 2.
