ISApu2 (ISUnCu5) is 78% aa similar to ISApu1. ISUnCu5 was found by screening completely sequenced genomes for sequences homologous to the ISPa12 transposase using BLASTP. Multiple sequence alignments revealed a conserved DDE motif : D(N2)-68-D(N3)-114-E(C1). ISUnCu5 is located on plasmid pRSB101 from an uncultured bacterium and a copy (ISApu2) lies on plasmid pFBAOT6 from Aeromonas punctata (Aeromonas caviae) HGB5.
