ISSa4 is 69% aa similar with ISLh1.
The transposase end is in the IRR.
ISSa4 could be detected only in strains isolated after 1996 which might indicate a recent acquisition of this IS by Streptococcus agalactiae.
The number of copies of this IS varies between strains : Streptococcus agalactiae BSP2001 harbored more than 15 copies of ISSa4. One had occured 87bp downstream of the ATG start codon of cylB.
