IS870 elements are associated with the iaaH-iaaM gene cluster located in the TB region of several Ti plasmids. The ORF stop codon is the TAG of the CTAG target site. Although CTAG seems to be the duplicated target, DRs of two (TA) or zero bp are also possible. A duplication of two bp has been retained, by analogy to the other members of the family.
