An isoform of ISPa8 has been identified in Pseudomonas sp. LM14 (KJ920389) by its transposition to entrapment vector pMAT1 (sacB cassette). As judged from DNA hybridization analysis ISPa8 is present in 9 copies in the genome of Pseudomonas sp. LM14. Homologous sequences were also detected by DNA hybridization in Pseudomonas mendocina strain LM7, Pseudomonas sp. LM8.
