ISBs2 is 48% aa similar to ISAzo32. The third ORF is the putative ORFAB transposase reconstructed in silico by possible -1 frameshift.
September 20 2012 : the partial sequence was replaced by the most closely complete sequence (99% of DNA identity).
Old accession number : Z21626.
Previous comments : ISBs2 is located upstream of the glgB (glycogen branching enzyme) gene in strain CU21 of Bacillus stearothermophilus (Kiel et al., 1993). The left end of ISBs2 is purely speculative and needs confirmation.
