ISPsp9 is 47% aa similar to ISApr8. ISPsp9 has been identified by its transposition to entrapment vector pMAT1 (sacB cassette). As judged from DNA hybridization analysis, ISPsp9 is present in 4 copies in the genome of Pseudomonas sp. LM13. Homologous sequences were also detected by DNA hybridization in Pseudomonas sp. LM5, Pseudomonas sp. ZM1, Pseudomonas sp. ZM2.
