ISPsp8 is 95% aa similar to ISPsp7. ISPsp8 has been identified by its transposition to entrapment vector pMAT1 (sacB cassette). As judged from DNA hybridization analysis ISPsp8 is present in 2 copies in the genome of Pseudomonas sp. LM13. Homologous sequences were also detected by DNA hybridization in Pseudomonas sp.
