ISPse1 is 72% aa similar to ISppu16.
ISPse1 has been identified by its transposition into entrapment vector pMAT1 (sacB cassette). As judged from DNA hybridization analysis ISPse1 is present in single copy in P. seriniphilus DSM 14827. Homologous sequence has been also detected by DNA hybridization in P. aestuarii DSM 19484.
