An isoform of ISPa33 has been identified in Pseudomonas mendocina strain LM7(KJ920393) by its transposition to entrapment vector pMAT1 (sacB cassette). As judged from DNA hybridization analysis, this isoform is present in 6 copies in the genome of Pseudomonas mendocina strain LM7 and in 4 copies in the genome of Pseudomonas sp. LM13. Homologous sequences were also detected by DNA hybridization in Pseudomonas sp. LM5, Pseudomonas sp. LM6, Pseudomonas sp. LM8, Pseudomonas sp. LM11, Pseudomonas sp. LM12, Pseudomonas sp. LM14, Pseudomonas sp. ZM2.
