There is one copy of ISShes14 in the Shewanella sp. ANA-3 chromosome.
The transposase that it encodes is degenerate, requiring read-through of one in-frame stop codon and a frameshift (in addition to the predicted programmed frameshift) to produce the protein shown here.
The repaired sequence of the ISShes14 transposase has 88% identity to ISSham2_aa3.
