There are 6 copies of ISSba6 encoded in the Shewanella baltica OS155 genome. One is interrupted by another IS element and its flanking sequence appears to be mutated in the direct repeat region (hence the longer read given at the insertion site). The insertion site appears to be conserved and is palindromic. The ISSba6 transposase has 97% identity with ISSod7_aa1 found in Shewanella oneidensis MR-1.
