ISPre2 is 99% aa similar to IS1384.
An isoform of ISPre2 has been identified in Pseudomonas sp. LM8 (KJ920391) by its transposition to entrapment vector pMAT1 (sacB cassette). As judged from DNA hybridization analysis, this isoform is present in 10 copies in the genome of Pseudomonas sp. LM8. Homologous sequences were also detected by DNA hybridization in Pseudomonas sp. LM5, Pseudomonas sp. LM6, Pseudomonas mendocina strain LM7, Pseudomonas aeruginosa strain LM10, Pseudomonas sp. LM11, Pseudomonas sp. LM12, Pseudomonas sp. LM13, Pseudomonas sp. LM14, Pseudomonas sp. ZM1, Pseudomonas sp. ZM2.
