The ISSde10 transposase is predicted to result from a -1 programmed frameshift (ORF 3). ISSde10 transposase (ORF AB) has 55% identity to IS1240. There are 3 full length copies of ISSde10 encoded in the Shewanella denitrificans genome. An additional 3' fragment is also present.
The ISSde10 ends are not classic for this ISs family.
