ISRhosp3 is 57% aa similar to ISSav3. ISRhosp3 has been found by screening completely sequenced bacterial genomes for sequences homologous to the IS1452 transposase using BLASTP. Multiple alignments revealed a conserved DDE motif : D(N2)-99-D(N3)-124-E(C1). The copy number of ISRhosp3 in Rhodococcus sp. RHA1 (plasmid pRHL2) is 1 on pRHL2.
