ISVbsp1 is 88% aa similar to ISPhsp1. ISVisp1 was found by screening completely sequenced genomes for sequences homologous to the ISPg4 transposase using BLASTP. Multiple sequence alignments revealed a conserved DDE motif : D(N2)-73-D(N3)-105-E(C1). The sequencing of the Vibrio sp. MED222 chromosome is currently in progress. Accession: NZ_AAND00000000.
