ISHch2 is 75% aa similar to ISPa1635. ISHch2 was found by screening completely sequenced genomes for sequences homologous to the ISPg4 transposase using BLASTP. Multiple sequence alignments revealed a conserved DDE motif : D(N2)-69-D(N3)-110-E(C1). The copy number on the Hahella chejuensis KCTC 2396 chromosome is 1.
