ISPto2 is 76% aa similar to ISCph2. ISPto2 was found by screening completely sequenced genomes for sequences homologous to the ISAva1 transposase using BLASTP. Multiple sequence alignments revealed a conserved DDE motif : D(N2)-65-D(N3)-106-E(C1). The sequencing of the Psychroflexus torquis ATCC 700755 chromosome is currently in progress.
