ISPepr3 is 46% aa similar to ISDre1. ISPepr3 was found by screening completely sequenced genomes for sequences homologous to the ISPg4 transposase using BLASTP. Multiple sequence alignments revealed a conserved DDE motif : D(N2)-63-D(N3)-99-E(C1). The sequencing of the Pelobacter propionicus DSM 2379 chromosome is currently in progress. Accession: NZ_AAJH00000000.
