ISCph2 is 56% aa similar to ISPg4. ISCph2 was found by screening completely sequenced genomes for sequences homologous to the IS4Sa transposase using BLASTP. Multiple sequence alignments revealed a conserved DDE motif : D(N2)-65-D(N3)-106-E(C1). The sequencing of the Chlorobium phaeobacteroides BS1 chromosome is currently in progress. Accession number: NZ_AAIC00000000.
