ISBlma1 is 43% aa similar to ISGsu1. ISBlma1 was found by screening completely sequenced genomes for sequences homologous to the ISRso13 transposase using BLASTP. Multiple sequence alignments revealed a conserved DDE motif : D(N2)-68-D(N3)-120-E(C1). The sequencing of the Blastopirellula marina DSM 3645 chromosome is currently in progress. Accession number : NZ_AANZ00000000.
